The Effectiveness of Azolla microphylla Flour Supplementation in Rations on Body Weight, Total Blood Plasma Protein and Total Microbial Contamination of Broiler Carcasses

The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness Azolla microphylla flour supplementation in broiler feed rations on body weight, total blood plasma protein and carcass microbial contamination. conducted for 6 months (May-October 2022) cage unit at Integrated Field Laboratory, Faculty Agriculture, University Lampung. This experimental used four treatments five replications. Each replicate consisted Cobb CP 707broiler strains, bringing a 100 broilers. Giving as supplement is added ration with different doses according namely P0: without (control); P1: supplemented 2.5% flour; P2 5%; P3 7.5%. Sampling carcasses serum 29-day-old broilers 1 per replication 20 samples. Samples were sent Lampung Veterinary Center be analyzed meat contamination (total plate count) serum. Data from test results are arranged simple tabular form descriptively. conclusion wassupplementation 5% microphyllaflour effective increase weight gain, maintain within normal range, safe limits consumption.
